History of The Ministry
Christ the Foundation Rock Ministry was founded on Sunday, 2nd July, 2000.
The Ministry began in the sitting room of Rev. (Dr.) Benjamin Kolawole AKINTOLA with his immediate family which comprise of his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Janet Olufunmilayo AKINTOLA and his five children alongside five of their relatives at 11, Ifelodun Street, Zone 5, Orisunmibare Community, Ado-Ekiti.
The Church then had no name, it was just a Fellowship. However, before the service ended that Sunday, the members grew to twenty (20).
On Sunday, 16th July, 2000, after much persuasion from some brethren, the Church was moved to an uncompleted building at Adehun area, opposite VIO Office, beside Adehun Filling Station.
The name, Christ the Foundation Rock Ministry was given to the Church on Sunday, 23rd July, 2000.
The LORD has been good to the Ministry in many ways beyond the expectation of man.
With the help and support of Almighty GOD, the Church began growing and before the end of Year 2000, the Ministry had had four (4) Branches within Ekiti State.
Location
Christ the Foundation Rock Ministry is domiciled in Ekiti State with her Headquarter Church at 7, Ifelere Street, behind VIO Office, off Iworoko Road, Ado-Ekiti and has her National Camp Ground at Mercyland, Km. 8, Aaye Village, Afao Road, Ado-Ekiti.
Christ the Foundation Rock Ministry is divided into Regions with Regional Overseers and Areas with Area Pastors. There are various Parishes/Branches under the Areas which are then under the Regions which are under States which are under the Headquarter.
Christ the Foundation Rock Ministry presently can be found in Ekiti State, Osun State, Ogun State and Lagos State.
